Fenmen to stay in the North!

The rumours started back in February of a potential switch for Town to the UCL South. By the time the season drew to an end against Deeping Rangers, they had gained some traction but an announcement by the FA last week confirmed there would be no change. For the 2025-26 season Wisbech will continue to compete in the United Counties Premier Division North.
We are joined in the UCL North by fellow PE postcoders Blackstones FC from Stamford who were promoted via the Division One playoff final. Clay Cross Town will become the furthest trip, at 91 miles to the UCL Division One Champions ground which is just four and a half miles south of Chesterfield’s famous crooked church spire.
We continue as the lone representative of Cambridgeshire (albeit physically in Norfolk) in the division and look forward to welcoming visitors from Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire to the Capital of the Fens.
The Fenmen 'fun bus' will be back on the road up and down the A47, A17 and A1 as Wisbech Town FC continue to be one of the best supported away teams in the league, despite some long journeys. If you are interested in travelling to away games, please ask at the club shop on home matchdays.
For away fans planning on travelling to Wisbech for the first time – don’t worry! It might feel like you are going South but you are actually going East! The town is pronounced Wiz-beach not Wiss-bek, and sorry to disappoint you but there is no beach. There are some mud flats though on the Nene if you want to get that sinking feeling.
There is plenty of parking at our home ground, plus a clubhouse with a bar and a very popular fast-food hatch. The Bygones Restaurant provide meals from 9am on Saturdays. Matchday programmes are available from just inside the turnstiles whilst club memorabilia, including scarves and pin badges are available from the newly refurbished club shop.
As soon as the season league fixtures are confirmed in early July we will share more about the matchday experience at Fountain Fresh Park.
