The Fenmen will be looking to record their second consecutive away victory when they travel to meet struggling Pinchbeck Utd on Saturday.
Pinchbeck, who play their home matches at Spalding’s Sir Halley Stewart Field ground, have managed just two league wins this season, including a surprise 3-1 success at Deeping last Saturday which lifted them off the foot of the table.
The Knights have lost 15 of their 20 league matches and have a goal difference of minus 62, easily the worst in the division. Their latest defeat was a 3-0 loss at Sleaford on Boxing Day.
Andre Williams will be seeking to open his account for Wisbech. Williams, who joined The Fenmen from Pinchbeck in November, was their leading scorer with eight goals. Wisbech scored a somewhat fortunate 3-2 win when the sides met at Fountain Fresh Park in August.
Recent club history:
The club, who joined the Peterborough League Premier Division in 1958, were champions in 1989/90 and retained their title the following year. They were champions again in 2011/12 and also won the Peterborough Senior Cup that season.
The Knights were runners-up in 2016/17 and gained promotion to Division One of the United Counties League. The promotion resulted in them moving home matches from Knight Street in Pinchbeck to Spalding.
Success was swift, with Pinchbeck winning the UCL Division One title in 2017/18 and being promoted to the Premier Division, where they have remained.
