There will be some old faces at Fountain Fresh Park on Tuesday when The Fenmen entertain promotion-chasing Skegness Town.
The Skegness squad is likely to include Leon Mettam and Danny Brooks, who were manager and assistant manager at Wisbech before leaving earlier this season.
Both came on as subs in the club's 4-2 victory over Kimberley Miners Welfare on Saturday, a result which strengthened their place in the play-offs.
The seasiders' squad also includes ex-Fenmen Adam Millson, Stacy Cartwright and Jenk Acar, although the latter is suspended for the Wisbech match.
Skegness scraped a 1-0 win at home to Wisbech in August in a controversial game.
Their leading scorer is Declan Johnson with 19 goals.
Club History
The club was founded in 1947 as a successor to the town's two pre-war clubs, Skegness United and Skegness Blue Rovers.
They played in the Lincolnshire League and were then members of the Midland Counties League from 1958 to 1982, finishing as runners-up in 1978/79, missing out on the title on goal difference.
The Lillywhites had a season in its successor, the North Counties (East) League, before returning to the Lincolnshire League in 1983.
They were league champions in 2006/07 and 2007/08, and also won successive titles in 2015/16 and 2016/17.
In early 2016 it was announced that Skegness would be moving from Burgh Road to the new Vertigo Stadium.
Skegness were promoted to the Northern Counties East League Division One in 2018, ending a 36-year absence from the football pyramid.
In 2021/22 the club were promoted to the UCL Premier Division based on their results in the abandoned 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
