Home and away the supporters club sponsor the player of the match. The selection is made by a member of the supporters club who also presents the award.

During last season, 2022/23, the player who topped the list for most awards was the supporters player of the season, Amir Ward. Amir collected the award on seven occasions.
The second most awards went to Luke Pearson and Sisa Tuntulwana with five awards each and third with four awards was Kieran Hamilton.
Nineteen individual players were selected player of the match throughout the season.
